Background and Constitution: The Charity is constituted by a Deed of Trust dated 11th June 1987. The fund originates from a single settlement from an individual donor. The object of the Charity is to provide funds for such charitable object or institution as the Directors in their absolute discretion think fit.
Principal Aims and Objectives: To further the well being of individuals and families who may for whatever reason be in distress.
Donations: Donations by the Trust this year exceeded £200,000. Roughly a third of these donations by value went to institutions that promote the welfare of individuals and families. However, a large number of small donations (amounting to about a third of the total by value) were made for the benefit of individuals via statutory authorities and voluntary agencies. A further third of donations by value went to support organisations whose work is mostly overseas. |
